I know I haven't been active in years, but after some thought I decided to come by and pack up everything for good for several reasons:

1) The obvious forced Eclipse implementation. Even after many months of its introduction it's nearly useless and makes my experience on this site even as a lurker tedious. I do not want to be a part of a community where the higher ups pretend to listen to their users but then completely ignore all comments and criticism to force terrible things on them anyway.

2) My dA account is... 16 years old. I was an edgy teenager in highschool when I started the account, wholly misguided throughout most of my 20s in ethics, opinions and even at times morals. After spending so much time talking to various people from all over the world and gaining a greater understanding on just society in general, I've realized I was raised in a toxic and ignorant environment. Looking back at a lot of my past actions and even deviations, I don't agree with a good number of my works and the things I've said throughout the years to various people.

So, I'm closing up shop and moving on.

No, I cannot find an alternative art site that doesn't suck. No, there is nowhere to view my newer works because there are literally none to speak of.

If I ever start a new website to post my work I'll let you guys know... if anyone is even still around after the whole Eclipse mess. lol

Some folks started a petition on a social media personal information gathering website in the hopes that selling out their information for spam to fill some greedy asshole's pockets will be enough for dA to look at the list of names, smell their own farts and continue sinking on the ship that they accidentally reversed the canons on and fired internally.

It ain't gonna do any good, but here's the link if you too want spam from strangers who collect your name and street address for whatever reason.
